Greg Myers Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 (edited) Still in business. Hope they pick up the pace. Edited June 13, 2024 by Greg Myers Sp.
Mark Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 It would have been easy for them to throw in the towel after the krap storm that got thrown their way four years ago. A whole print run destroyed in transit because of a distributor. Other operations have shut down over much less. I took the gamble on a lifetime subscription five years ago. It again would have been easy for them to reorganize with a slight change in name, and use that technicality to void all of those subs. But they didn't do that. My issue arrived Monday. I've read it cover to cover except for one article, and I'll get to that today or tomorrow. Then, I'll be waiting for the next issue... 2
The Junkman Posted June 14, 2024 Posted June 14, 2024 I've sent an email to them to see if my subscription was still valid, having renewed it just before all the falderol. Really happy to see them rise from the (near)dead. I've stopped subscribing to Car and Driver and Road & Track because they stopped offering value but RJ is clearly an exception. 1
casassa Posted June 14, 2024 Posted June 14, 2024 Arrived in central Indiana today. As others have said its a great issue. I'm glad to see them hanging in there through adversity. JIM 1
Force Posted June 15, 2024 Posted June 15, 2024 I'm a subscriber but I haven't got anything after issue #83. I tried to contact them after my friends here in town got their copys of the #84 and #85 last summer but nothing what so ever.
The Junkman Posted June 15, 2024 Posted June 15, 2024 (edited) I exchanged a few emails with their customer service desk today. I thought I had renewed my subscription before their interruption in publishing but they couldn't find any record of a renewal although they did find that I was a previous subscriber and I couldn't prove I had in fact renewed it. Anyway, they are accepting subscriptions (just by check right now but by credit card or phone soon). I just need an amount from them and I'll be back in good graces.
