This model took nearly 2 years to build ....Built it a while ago ....It wasn't an easy build

but I always love a challenge..... Photo etch detail added ....Airwing modified...

lights added ....scratch built Tilley crane ...Sea scape sculpted with kitchen

tissue ...white glue and common household plaster .

Hope you like it

Holy moly that's amazing ! Incredible detailing , great work !

Just wondering how many hours do you think you have in the build ?

Louis, your work never ceases to inspire! Absolutely brilliant work. I keep going back and seeing more detail I missed the first 3 times.

Do you still build ships these days? I know they are very time consuming but the outcome is usually well worth the effort. If you do, have you considered doing another class of ship? I know battleships are a tad boring, but the IJN line (Yamato aside) offer some really cool looking subjects - like the Haruna or Kongo, or even Nagato. I know that something like that would become an art piece in your capable hands :)
