Claude Thibodeau Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 Hi! Had a few copies of the Foose F100 leftover parts, so why not try to create something different? Take two cabs, join them at the rear door cut line, stretch the roof and transform the hood of the rear unit into a trunk lid, with a covered bed to carry stuff in style. Throw in a custom take on the grille and headlights + tail lights. The frame was lenghtened to fit the new wheelbase, and the second bench seat was used for the rear unit. The tailgate and rear box were scratchbuilt, as are the mirrors, runninboard, distributor, rear tie rods, disc brakes and trailer hitch. Tamya's bright orange was covered with clear red and clear pearl + Mr. Hobby Top coat clear, fully polished. Molotow's and Revell spray chrome accents. My local model club has a theme at this coming fall show that requires "odd creations". Might qualify... Hours of fun with styrene! CT 12

Chuck Most Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Love it! I have a similar project that's stalled, but uses two Bumpside cabs. Really like front end treatment. Kinda reminds me of the 1966 Batmobile.
