Chuck Most Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Knocked this together out of the box except for the '53 front bumper, and plates. It's also been lowered and has had the scripts and door handles shaved. Again, had to sand around the headlight lenses so they'd fit. Chassis was hogged upward in the middle, I just sort of "built around it". I trimmed off the locators for the cab and bed because I just had a feeling nothing would line up correctly if I relied on those. Not the best of the resurrected AMT classics but not the worst either. And it's one of my least favorite Ford body styles. Despite all that, had fun building it, happy with the end result... Does anything else really matter? 8
bill lanfear Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Nice work Chuck, patina is spot on for a clear coated patina job found on rat rods nowadays! Well done!
espo Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Great looking paint finish, very realistic looking patina. Like the stance and the front bumper switch out.
