I am on Firefox and noticed since the server migration the login ("Existing User? Sign In" prompt) at the top right of the page doesn't work.  If I go to Microsoft Edge or Chrome it works fine.  Just not with Firefox.

Is anybody else using Firefox experiencing this?

I use Firefox and found that nothing happens when I try clicking on the messages or notification icons at the top.  I have to use Microsoft edge to be able to open them up.

May be something in your settings, I also have no problems with either the sign-in, or Messages and Notifications icons on Firefox.

OK, so a little more on this...

If JavaScript is DIS-abled, then I CAN access Messages, Notifications and able to login...BUT, NO pictures show up in any postings.

If JavaScript is EN-abled, then I CANNOT access Messages, Notifications and UNable to login...BUT, ALL pictures WILL show up in any postings.

This has only been happening since the last round of server migrations.  I'm not crazy...I spent 45 years in I.T. but very little of it was with online web applications (Mostly Mainframe Client/Server BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH).  That said, I have seen so many weird things happen when upgrades took place (regardless of the platform), it would boggle even the most intelligent of Software Engineers!!!

A similar situation occurred the last time this site went through a server upgrade until one day it was miraculously fixed.  Even back then, some people had the issue with Firefox while others in firefox didn't.

So somebody may want to go back through the maintenance history and find out what was done then.  I'm sure it's similar.

Interesting...I cannot even EDIT my post unless I quote it

@Dave Ambrose...just calling your attention to it since I think you worked it last time around

I think Firefox is working well with the forum. This forum relies heavily on Javascript to make it work. If you have any enhanced security settings, that's likely to be the cause.

Edit: I posted this reply and addendum with Firefox.

Logged in from FF, site hanging when switching pages, photos very slow to load...and there's a barely noticeable "flashing" occurring of blank spaces where photos are trying to load (this sometimes happens under Chrome too).

My FF is dead-stock with no "enhanced security settings".

After some logins, the forum is unusable, period.

Photos don't display, pages won't load, can't view different topics and threads, posts won't, nothing. Sometimes can't even log out.

Same issues with both Firefox and Chrome.

I had to try various things just to post this.

EDIT: And other times it works fine, like the post I just made over on the "what-didja-get-non-auto-models" thread...or with only minimal hanging like it did as I navigated here to edit this post.

The odd thing is, Dave...since the last server migration, I changed NOTHING in my settings.  It's the same thing as the previous server changes that were made...I made no changes whatsoever.  Then suddenly, it was all fixed and I did nothing on my end.  Not doubting what you said but as I said before, after 45 years of being in I.T. (mostly IBM mainframe and client server applications)...NOTHING surprises me anymore!

I'm open to any/all suggestions, however.
