Nosferatu Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 I finished this about a month ago. I used the rear end from a '40 Ford delivery and added it to the front of a VW bug. I also carved out the front hood and made the grill for the V8 inside. I hope you like it and thanks for looking. Dave 6
Coyote_6 Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 That is a sweet mashup!! NICE work. Ingenious how well they go together!
Yeah Nah Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 Interesting and well done conversion Dave. Should fairly hop along with the relocated and VERY non-VW power plant!
Nosferatu Posted June 21, 2024 Author Posted June 21, 2024 Thanks for the nice comments. I’m glad you liked it. It was a fun build. Dave
Bainford Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 Very cool conversion. The 40 Ford matches well with the Bug. The Cragars are perfect. Cool look. Reminds me of a fibreglass 1:1 kit available back in the day.
ncbuckeye67 Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 Excellent work on a one of a kind custom! It's amazing how you blended everything so well.
XYHARRY Posted June 22, 2024 Posted June 22, 2024 Cool custom there Dave, the V8 fits nicely up front. Really well done. Cheers, David M.??
Lobo2me Posted June 22, 2024 Posted June 22, 2024 Very cool....did Chevy and Chrysler pay you royalties or steel the idea for the HHR and PT Cruiser....? Well done!
