PappyD340 Posted June 22, 2024 Posted June 22, 2024 Got these 28 cans of Testors extreme lacquers at Joann fabrics $2.97 per can on clearance, I cleaned out both the stores that are close to me, less than $100 for all this, it would have cost $232 at Hobby Lobby I believe we figured I saved $140 and I thought it was an excellent deal! 3

Or at least store 'em upside down, so in theory only the propellant will leak and you can still decant the rest to airbrush (seein' as how it always seems to be the bottom of the cans that leak...).

Yes I'll do that, I have some older Model Master paints that some of them have leaked from the bottom and it was funny it was never the pigment it was one of the binders that leaked.
bobss396 Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 Now I gotta go look at my local store.. thanks buddy....

bobss396 Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 We had a parts store change owners, maybe 20 years ago. They were blowing out the old Duplicolor stock at 99¢ a can. I'm still using some of it. I had a can or 2 go bad over time.
Mike 1017 Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 Yesterday I went to the JoAnn's in Algonquin IL no Testors Mike
