AlbertS Posted June 23, 2024 Posted June 23, 2024 Just wondering if anybody knows of a 1/24 or 1/25 large-displacement engine around 500 cubic inches that anyone has available or if the resin folks have one coming along eventually? Am intending to put it into a 50's old school (used to be a tractor trailer truck but is now) semi-retired farm dump truck? Thanks in advance for your response/guidance.
Duane Garner Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 Iceman Collections, Texas 3d Customs or VCG Resins, to name a few
Fat Brian Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 I don't know of anyone that makes big gas straight sixes but Texas_3D_Customs just did the GMC twin six.that and the Super Duty v8 from the C600 are about the only ones available of the shelf. 1
LDO Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 Cut up a Rolls-Royce Merlin or an Allison V-1710 and make up a good story about an 825ci or 855ci heavy truck engine. The Brits had the Rolls-Royce Meteor. The US had the Ford GAA (1650ci V-12 cut down to an 1100ci V-8) 1
stavanzer Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 Shim the Monogram Rolls Royce Straight 6 block wider, scratch build a New Valve Cover, and Intake and go that way. My only idea.....
