The chrome tips that came in certain Revell models, I was wanting to know what size they was and if I could get tubing in that size.  I have ordered som. Left handed mics..

Not sure what the exact size is on the Revell exhaust tips, but I have been using Aluminum tubing size 1/8 x .014. I use a well-worn Exacto miter box to cut to the length needed. This size fits a little lose over the end of the plastic exhaust systems in almost every kit I have come across. When cutting the tubing it tends to have some Aluminum shavings that will partially close that end. I use a simple wood construction nail to ream the opening enough that it will be snug on the plastic exhaust. Sometimes you may want more if a flared open end and again I use a nail to flare the end. A touch of polish on the tubing will give it a bright finish.

if you strip the plastic from small female electrical bullet connectors you get left with a short nicely flared exhaust tip. afew seconds in a drill with some metal polish and they shine up nice.
