M W Elky Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 I built this one some time ago using the revell jungle Jim kit. I swapped out the wheels with the front ones from polar lights and the back wheels from the mpc funny car. The mpc slicks really change the stance of this kit I think for the better. I painted it with testors true blue pearl and used slixx decals. This is one of the best funny car kits of all time, and there is a ton of amazing aftermarket decals available for it. I recommend the latest 2010ish version as it was updated to a one piece chassis and one piece rubber slicks. Until next time thanks for looking. Thanks mike 7
Coyote_6 Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 Nice build. The weathering looks very authentic on the chassis. Awesome! I am working on Mr Norm's SuperCharger right now and I am having a hard time bringing myself to dirty up the chrome for authenticity's sake. Time will tell - but your build makes a solid notch in the "realistic" column. Steve
