Started fitting the rear end to get the desired tire "poke out".  Decided to narrow the rear end a little to bring the wheels/tires in.  Should sit almost flush, with just a little bit of tire past the fender.

Today I tried my hand at BMF for the first time..practiced one piece of chrome on the spare body first and dove right in..had to re-do one piece of trim but turned out pretty good i think.  Normally I would just use a molotow chrome pen but since this model is sort of challenging to pick up and handle I didn't want to be touching all the chrome and putting finger prints in it so I went with the BMF instead.

BMF is a pain, but, it can't be beaten, appearance-wise. Nice work, Kevin. Looks great! Especially for your first effort!

A pain is an understatement lol..i had to polish everything the excess BMF touched because the adhesive left behind a glue residue.

Got the rear suspension put together.  I'm no suspension guru but the kit setup didn't make much sense..only has lower control arms with what looks like coil overs..if this were a real car there's nothing keeping the rear end centered..so I added another cross member and some upper control arms to make it into a 4 link.  Then set it on all fours, starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

The engine and interior is attached to the chassis now, added some brake lines to the master cylinder and braided fuel lines..man I despise making braided lines with AN fittings, really tests my patience lol..but got it done.  Have to finish putting the front and rear bumpers on and then the body will go on for good.

It's looking great Kevin; I rerally like that blue.   Yep, BMFing can be a challenge. Getting the trim on the cove was tough for me.

Thanks! The BMF took me a little bit of time to straighten the trim lines out on the coves picking at the edges little by little. As far as the color it's more of a green in most light.  This is the color in the sunlight.

Doing some really nice work on this one, especially like that color. You mentioned in an above post there was nothing to keep the rear-end centered. What you need is to add a Panhard bar, that is a bar attached to one side/end of the axle housing and the other end is attached to the opposing side of the chassis. Of course, each end is attached so it can rotate, but in effect it keeps the axle in place.

Yeah I could have done a panhard bar, I just thought it was easier to add a tubular cross member and two angled upper control arms..like the GM A body/G body cars.
