Ad - maybe brochure cover - for the 1971 Valiant Super Bee from Chrysler de Mexico (et alia).

1971-Mexico-Super-Bee.jpg.c0de210c39e630ebe2bf4aa4501f01ba.jpgThis would be easy to replicate in-scale , as other than its rims (Chevy rallye wheels are close, albeit with different centre caps)  it's pure Duster. Emblems could be made via print-to-scale decals. Engine is either gold or silver (I can't recall which is correct for 1971) ; a 318 with essentially 340 top end (four barrel, unsilenced air cleaner).

Neat!

What a great option for people who lived in states that border Mexico.

I've seen a small handful of Mexico market A-bodies around over the years. Last one I saw for sale was a 1970 Dart GTS ( 270hp 318 , 4-speed ). For the life of me I can't recall if it had the Rallye gauges or the 'bar' speedometer.

Mexico also had a '67 Valiant 2dr ht, when the US got only sedans.   Hard to find pics of them, not sure if they had it after 1967..   note the roofline is similar to the 2dr sedan, not like the Dart ht.

Far out ! A true hardtop at that ! That roofline is the same as the 2 door coupe (and convertible) -- I'd be interested in seeing interior photos. The rear window regulators must be based on the '67-'68 Dart coupe ( "21" body style ).

Tellus modelers deserve a 1967 Valiant more than many other kits.
