Kit Basher Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 (edited) Tamiya kit. The paint is Tamiya bottle lacquer "Italian Red". It's great paint to use, this is straight from the airbrush, no clear, no polish. When I started this kit, I thought it might be over my skill level, but I got 'r done. Thanks, Jeff! It goes together nicely, in typical Tamiya fashion. It seems intimidating at first, but everything works just right. Give it a go, I think you'll enjoy it. Rich Chernosky Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 Hugh. Yours turned out great. Mine has sat in its box forever. The Tamiya LS line is great. You might want to try thinning with Mr Color Leveling thinner for your last coat.

I couldn't see any orange peel at all until I took the photos, but it would be great to eliminate all of it.
TransAmMike Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 Great work Hugh....she looks fast just sitting there??
ea0863 Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 Beautiful build Hugh. And I'm with you; Tamiya Italian Red is one of my favorites, although pretty much their whole range comes out great.
