Led lights for truck and trailer

What size led lights is good for using if I want to add working lights to a build? I was thinking that I want working headligts, sidemarkers, rear lights and maybe reverse/worklights for it.  Maybee even going for interior and get the dash to light up.

Where is a good place to buy what I need from?

Pierre,

The smallest easily available LEDs are 0402 size i.e. 0.4mm x 0.2mm  These would work for headlights and rear lights but may be a bit large for side markers - only way to know would be to try.

0603 is the next larger size and would be 0.6mm x 0.3mm.

I would look on Amazon or eBay if you buy from either of those sources. You will find not only the bare individual LEDs but also pre-wired ones as well which is a good place to start as these 0402 size LEDs are rather tiny.

Thanks the 0402 sounds like it is the size i need and prewired also sounds good.

Will check out evans design to and see if they ship worldwide.

I use micro leds , you can have them cheap on Amazon and they are pre wired with resistor. I had no problem fitting them in my VW.
