Just finished this one this morning.  This kit was not as nice as the Revell 1936 Ford 3-Window Coupe but it was still pretty nice.  I just really like the old fat fender bodies from the 30's & 40's  Body is painted with Splash Paints Area 51 and cleared with their 2K Clear Urethane.  Wheels and all the bright work was painted with Tamiya TS-38 Gun Metal. Interior was painted with Rust-Oleum Satin Warm Caramel.  Wheels & tires are from Jay's Resin Wheels 1948 on ebay.

Nice job Bob. Great color choice and that engine is simply eye candy. I always liked the 36, there is something about the grille and headlights that pleases my eyes. Like you I like the cars of that era.

Wow. Great job on bringing this mediocre kit to standard. Pretty cool hot rod you got there, all in tune with today's trends. The colors, the wheels, the stance, the motor... Really cool!

That's a great looking old Ford!! An excellent color choice, and those Jay's Wheels and Tires really set it off!

Thanks man.  Yeah, the wheels & tires from Jay's really do bring a model to life.

I know this build had its challenges, but all your hard work paid off. She's a looker. Love the stance, the colors, the everything.

And the exhaust; with one glasspack under each door, you would definitely hear that!
