Dewey Crowe Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 About 25+ years ago, my friend, his son, my dog and me set out for a 3 hour hike in the Cheaha State Park and the Talladega National Forest. After taking a wrong turn, we discovered our mistake about 9 miles in so we turned around, hiking a total of 29 hours. I lost my friend, Jon, to COVID during its peak and this is a tribute to him. 2
