Great work on a classic Aussie muscle car. Nice choice of colour with the electric blue. What was it like to assemble? I’ve heard some say the plastic used is a little resistant to normal styrene glue. I’ve got the DDA LJ Torana but haven’t built it yet.

Cheers, Stu.

I've built a few of these kits now and have had no trouble with them gluing together, some have had fit issues where the bonnet won't close due to the engine being too high. The only proble I had with this one was getting the tires on to the rims.

I just finished the LC Torana and I couldn't get the spare tire into its location in the boot.

I like seeing the Aussie cars as they seemed to have a more interesting looking than the US versions. Great looking color and body trim.

I am a Falcon enthusiast having owned a 65 V8 4speed so I really enjoy seeing Aussie Falcons. I guess if there is ever another new Falcon it will be electric !!

Very nice build. I need to find a source for some kits of cars from down under.

Wow, that captures the look of an Electric Blue XY GT perfectly!  I continue to be amazed by just how many of these are getting built, and quickly.  Us Aussie modellers have waited for over sixty years to get models of our home- grown cars.  We have been saying for years that if only someone would make Australian cars we would buy them and now the prediction is coming true!  DDA is to be congratulated on their production of these kits.  Hopefully they will continue to bring out new and interesting models and they will improve their proportions just a little bit and we will buy them by the case!

Cheers

Alan
