Oldschool297 Posted July 14, 2024 Posted July 14, 2024 (edited) I got a car modell in bigger scale. Seems like someone has used a way to big sandpaper. It needs some putty knife with spackel. I do not know the right english word for it. I am swedish. The chassi is nearly 16". No options like open the doors or trunk. Edited July 14, 2024 by Oldschool297
Oldschool297 Posted July 14, 2024 Author Posted July 14, 2024 There seems to be many missing parts to the chassi, i do not know which parts. 1
stavanzer Posted July 15, 2024 Posted July 15, 2024 It is probably the Revell 1/8 Scale 1932 Ford Roadster. Last seen in this boxing. Tooling has been around for over 60 years. https://www.spotlighthobbies.com/all-products/unbuilt-kits/20377/revell-1932-ford-roadster-highboy-rat-rod-or-the-original-big-deuce/ 2
NOBLNG Posted July 15, 2024 Posted July 15, 2024 (edited) Here are the instructions for the Monogram Big Deuce kit. The floor pan and gas pedal look similar. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/monogram-instructions/show-rods/monogram-classic-32/dsc2151.html Edited July 15, 2024 by NOBLNG 1
Tim W. SoCal Posted July 15, 2024 Posted July 15, 2024 (edited) It is definitely an earlier edition of the Monogram Big Deuce '32 Ford Roadster. I got the '77 re-release and it is molded in the same black and white. I also received the 2004 Revell repop for Christmas that year from my new wife. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/monogram-2602-32-ford--265699 Edited July 15, 2024 by Tim W. SoCal 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 15, 2024 Posted July 15, 2024 (edited) Yup, absolutely positively the Monogram 1/8 scale "Big Deuce". I have several. Here's a build thread on one of 'em. Edited July 15, 2024 by Ace-Garageguy TYPO 1

Oldschool297 Posted July 15, 2024 Author Posted July 15, 2024 I got the back part to the chassi, otherwise much is missing.
Ulf Posted July 15, 2024 Posted July 15, 2024 Definitely Monogram, there have been quite a few sold in Sweden over the years and you will probably be able to find the parts you are missing. My impression is that quite a few 1:1 rodders have both gluebombs and complete kits in the basement. regarding the sanding scratches, I think you can get to the body well by sanding with wet sandpaper, filling deep scratches and using a slightly filling primer such as Hagmans (not Biltema's light gray). Test on a small surface. The Facebook group Grevens Glue Galore is the right place for those who have Facebook in Sweden. Don't miss Hobbyhaket in Västerås, Fredrik might be able to help you. 1
