Just completed my Revell 1949 Mercury Custom. This is the 2nd one of these I have built plus I built the Wagon a few years ago. Painted with Tamiya Pearl Yellow with Testors Leather interior. Wanted to try and get an old school look. Used a set of Pegasus Chrome Reverse rims and white walls. I found a set of lake pipes from the prior one I built.

This is my favourite kit, I wish I had bought more when they were available. Your build looks great and the leather interior looks good with the yellow, well done Jason.

Cheers,

David. ??

That is beautiful! I would never have thought yellow would look so good on that.

Thanks. I never really thought about Yellow either, but I went looking for ideas and came across this picture and it hit.

really nice. There is a 1.1 for sale that looks like this not too far from me. Not as custom as yours though. It's in flat back.
