Chuck Most Posted July 15, 2024 Posted July 15, 2024 AMT kit with the Moebius utility box. The cab was stripped of the Custom Cab trim, the rear window was changed to the small version, and all chrome gave way to off white. The engine has the intake, carb, and air cleaner from the '57 Fairlane 500, along with a scratch built exhaust crossover, for a closer to stock appearance. The Moebius bed had the wheel arches cut out and switched side to side to match the '60 wheelbase. Finish is distressed Colorshot Splash with Gopher Racing door graphics. 12
ncbuckeye67 Posted July 16, 2024 Posted July 16, 2024 Very nice! I really need to do more of this type of build. Not every vehicle is showroom perfect.
espo Posted July 16, 2024 Posted July 16, 2024 Great looking finish. The engine detailing looks like a truck in service for a long time with little or no attention to upkeep.
STU111 Posted July 16, 2024 Posted July 16, 2024 That looks very nicely finished with excellent patina. I like the look of an old faded pickup, it’s a finish I’m trying to perfect on my truck builds. Again, looks great.?? Cheers, Stu.
1hobby1 Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 That is spot on for looks! What a great job you did.
Zippi Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 Now this old 1960 Ford pickup looks like it's been earning its keep. Looks good Chuck.
PappyD340 Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 Another really cool work truck, well done as usual!
rv1963 Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 Great work on the weathering of all your light trucks.
