I heavily modified a Revell 70 torino parts car I had into a 74 xb falcon the grille is from a Revell 70 cuda and the hood is a amt 71/73 mustang hood I cut down the new body piece that site behind the hood and in front of the windshield is from a car body in my parts boxes along with the steering wheel and the amt 71/73 mustang dash which I modified into a xb falcon dash and the windshield wipers and radio antenna and trunk lid spoiler front and back bumpers and lower front valance and engine bay parts the rims and tires are 3d resin printed the exhaust tips are from the mpc 71 demon kit I used to make the south African Chrysler valiant charger with
I painted the body a base coat of rust-oleum 2x gloss real orange with a top coat of eastup high performance wheel paint wine red gold spray paint the interior was painted rust-oleum 2x flat black primer the rest of the detail painting was done with acrylic craft paints and dead ultra fine tip sharpie markers and paint brushes

audio in the video is from a episode of shannons club tv on the ford xb falcon

G’day Michelle. You’ve captured the look of the XB GT coupe nicely, especially around the front and side profiles. You must put a lot of planning into these. Looks great.     Cheers, Stu.

I do a lot of research both videos and photos for all of the Australian cars I have done as well as for the ones I have planed I even am trying to figure out the best base car models to use to modify into a leyland p76 sedan and the leyland p76 force 7 which those are a lot harder to figure out what to use then the fords and Chryslers and holdens are

A P76 force 7? Now that is rare. Only a few of those were made. If you can pull that off, I’d be interested to check it out.??

I plan to do 2 leyland p76 sedans one is the famous 1974 world rally car driven by even green and navigator John Bryson  and they other will be either a standard sedan or the targa florio special edition sedan they made in honor of that rally car

Very cool XB GT Falcon coupe, those wheels look great on it. The XA/XB/XC series Falcon coupes take alot of cues from the 70 Torino, in fact the basic body shell is almost identical.  Really well done Michelle and I will look forward to seeing your Leyland P76.

Cheers,

David. ??

Nice concept. In the Force 7, I see a lot of Studekaer Avanti in the body shape plus a taste of the Shelby Charger as for the basic size of it. Not sure  as to the exact size of the Leyland though. Early Mazda Cosmo for the grille shape or just creating geometric paterns for scratch building. Next you have a chance to see some of the Asian car model kits, check for similar tail lamp designs or hack a 66 Nova lamp.
