The new tool '55 is definitely due. I've been extremely pleased with how the latest reissue of the '57 Bel Air has moved at my shop and the '56 Del Ray has been a very steady seller on my shelves for years. All they would really have to do is slap their current box art on the last "Rod & Custom" release of the kit because that wheel & tire package alone will be a mover. The parts count, the level of detail and the completely separate frame parts like a big rig kit is the first time I see it in a light truck.... Revell out done itself! Being a square body buff for all my life I will get about a dozen for sure!! The custom builds possibilities are endless... And if Revell makes a pickup out of this tool, then I will be more than happy!
iamsuperdan
That Blazer is definitely going to make its way into my stash. Probably a couple of times too.

The two-part dome is (are) on the clear sprue tree, just above the side windows.

The tooling is clearly designed to be modular, the Blazer specific parts are easily removed for other body styles to be included. I'm certain we will see pickup variants of this before long. Yep! Sorta reminds me of a Moebius kit...🙂
