Silvercreeker Posted July 19, 2024 Posted July 19, 2024 Solar Flare is done. This is a 1925 AMT T-Bucket, (Chopped T kit) with a VCG Resins Oldsmobile Hot Rod V-8 motor, fully wired with Protect wires and sparkplug boots. Track grill shell/nose is from Model Car Garage. It’s painted Testors Yellow decanted enamel. The rear wheels and tires are from the 34 Ford Slammer dirt track race car, and front are from the MPC Firetruck 13 hotrod. Gas tank, electric fan, shifter and Front axle are from VCG Resins. Ron Coon gas pedal and steering linkage. Kens flocking provided the interior. Diamond plate bed is scratch built. Wrapped up in 6 weeks. Still have another Chopped T kit calling my name! Enjoy. 11

bobss396 Posted July 19, 2024 Posted July 19, 2024 That does it.. I need a '25 Ford kit... VCG Resins makes a nice chassis for it. 1

Phildaupho Posted July 19, 2024 Posted July 19, 2024 One of the best looking T-Buckets I have seen in a long time. Great combination of modifications to make it unique. 1
espo Posted July 19, 2024 Posted July 19, 2024 Beautiful looking paint finish and flames. As everyone else has mentioned, the sourcing of the many parts really work well together. I'll have to get one of these engines, the detailing is outstanding. 1
TarheelRick Posted July 19, 2024 Posted July 19, 2024 Excellent work putting together that collection of diverse parts. Sweet little hot rod and you can't go wrong with yellow. Also like the detail of the Olds engine. I have a track-nose A in the planning stage. 1
