Here's my version of the Monogram Dodge Viper RT/10. The color is a mixture of about 80% Createx Pearl Lime and 20% Createx Pearl Green. For the stripes I mixed about 75% Folkart Pure Black with 25% Decoart Extreme Sheen Obsidian. Createx 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear was then sprayed on and later wet-sanded, polished, and waxed for the shine. I painted the interior in Apple Barrel Country Gray for the lighter parts, and the darker gray is Apple Barrel Dark Granite. I stripped the wheels and painted them in Createx Opaque Black, and cleared with the 4050 clear.

While it is a pretty basic kit, and pretty much a Snap-Together, it was also a lot of fun. The details are pretty decent and the fit is pretty good as well. Newer cars like this don't seem to be very popular to build, but they can be very fun and are great to try different things with. As always, thanks for looking!

The color is really eye catching and the paint finishes are all very smooth. Like the clean detailing of the interior and engine.

Bitchen Dodge Viper, Craig. Fantastic choice of colors... I was curious about mixing Createx paint colors. Now, thanks to you, I will buy some and experiment.

Thanks Tim! I love the Createx paints! There's a bit of a learning curve, but well worth the practice to get used to. They mix well within their own category. Opaque's mix with opaque's and pearls, pearls with pearls, and such. Not sure I would mix a Wicked color with an Illustration or Airbrush color, but then again that is what testing and experimenting is all about, eh??.

Very nice Viper there Craig, the box art looks like a toy and yours looks like you could jump right in and drive away. Really well done.

Cheers,

David. ??

I agree with the others, your Viper build is beautiful. That exterior color is exceptional. Well done.
