Hodrodz Posted July 25, 2024 Posted July 25, 2024 My first full detail build after being away from the hobby for 14 years. It took about 16 months off and on to complete. Converted to T-top, scratchbuilt hood scoop, icemans 572 crossram engine. Wired engine, plumbed fuel and brake lines, pegasus wheels and tires, and photoetched grill emblems and keyholes. 4
espo Posted July 26, 2024 Posted July 26, 2024 Very impressive body work can't imagine what all went into the T-Tops. Great looking paint color and finish and the interior color goes well with the body color. Like the engine detailing and the wheels used. 1
karbuildr Posted July 26, 2024 Posted July 26, 2024 Beautiful Monte Carlo, outstanding work on the T-tops, very nice interior and paint finish. Engine compartment is pretty wild. 1
PappyD340 Posted July 27, 2024 Posted July 27, 2024 Very impressive work James, outstanding detailing! 1

ncbuckeye67 Posted August 1, 2024 Posted August 1, 2024 That is amazing! Welcome back. Did you have any fitment issues with the interior & body? I'm working on that kit now, and I've removed the excess plastic below the windshield, and reworked the dashboard/door panel area (It seems like the dash is too wide?). 1

From my initial test fit in the beginning stages I had no fitment issues other than the front edge of the hood to the headlight bezels. That's one of the reasons I decided to go as far as I did with the kit, that and the amount of detail AMT put into the whole kit 1
