This was suppose to be a quick rebuild and it has gone on much longer than I had hoped for. It will stay as is for now. Thanks again! Yup, sorry. I need to stay out of this stuff.
mrmike Posted September 3, 2024 Author Posted September 3, 2024 No need to be sorry, Jim. I understand.
mrmike Posted October 28, 2024 Author Posted October 28, 2024 It's been a while, but I started sanding the imperfections out of my '56 T-Bird. So far, so good. Another coat of Tamiya TS-8 Italian Red paint and hopefully the T-Bird will be ready for assembly. The spare tire will just need polishing.
Zippi Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 That looks Boss man. That TS-8 Italian Red is a pretty color.
mrmike Posted October 29, 2024 Author Posted October 29, 2024 Thanks Bob! I'm hoping to repaint the T-Bird today.
mrmike Posted October 30, 2024 Author Posted October 30, 2024 Movin' forward! Another coat of Tamiya TS-8 Italian Red on the '56 T-Bird! Now to let it dry and reassembly! 1
mrmike Posted November 4, 2024 Author Posted November 4, 2024 1956 Ford Thunderbird The T-Bird has got the body assembled to the frame and now I am adding some of the chrome bits to the body. The taillights have been painted and detailed. I should decide on a color for the top, be it white or red. It has been painted white, but I'm not happy with it. 2
