Always been a fan of the Lil Coffin but thought the front end on the model didn't sit right so I beefed it up and widened the rear while I was at it. Tamiya black with a mica red overspray on the roof and nose

Bitchen modernization of the iconic Li'l Coffin, Brian! Your color choices , modern wheels & tires and the blown 426 Hemi all work really well with this kits. Great conceptualization!...

Thanks for the kind comments gentlemen.

Claude, I think the wheels came from a Mustang SVO kit with the inner rims stuck on the outside. Wheels and stance are something I decide on before I start a build as they are pivotal to the final look.

Very nice update of this old Monogram classic. Your mods are a definite improvement. The stance is much more in line with how the car should have been built originally. The colours are well chosen, too. Well done.

Swapping out the fenders and widening the overall stance really makes a huge difference ! And it looks great in black , well done !

Thanks for the info. The width of the ouside rim puzzled me... Now it makes sense!

I agree, Me too, I always establish the rolling stock at the start of a buid: It influences soooo many things in the construction.
