The local fair's Demo Derby / Figure of 8 racing

I did some design work for the local fair this summer and got some free tickets to the figure of eight / demo derby, so I took the opportunity to get track side and photograph some of the stuff there...

BTW, if anyone knows what the flamed 093 car, the 'Lucky 13' and the blue 212 car are (were), I'd be really interested to know...

212 looks like a 55-56 Chrysler or Desoto. Lucky 13 looks like a 75-77 Cutlass.

Of COURSE the ones I liked best are probably near impossible to find in 1:25 ?

For 212 - Johan and the later X-el made promos of the 55/56 Desoto 4dr sedan. Keep your eyes open for a busted or badly warped one (you just need the roof and side window frames). Combine that roof section with a Moebius 55/56 Chrysler and you will have what you need to start.
