OldTrucker
I am quickly remembering why the first one I tried building in the late 1970s never got finished!!! I'm determined to finish it this time!

OldTrucker
The edges of almost every piece has to be cleaned up. Horrible alignment of the dyes make it impossible to completely clean up the parting lines completely and nothing lines up. And I thought the original release was bad! Jim B
I built this kit back in 2010, and I said, "Never again!" I don't know how people build the plated kit. It has to be just as bad, but with all that plating to scrape.
hct728(Bob)
I put one aside unpainted when I found a chrome version, it's pretty impressive all done up. Mine needs a matching tractor. It was designed so the edges are covered up for the most part, just the ends to clean up, but well worth the effort. Yours looks neatly done so far, keep up the momentum! OldTrucker
Moving along slow but getting there. Paint cure times seem to keep getting slower and slower.

Rockford
It's going to look great when it's done, I like the contrasting colour on the chassis, I'd have probably been lazy and painted everything aluminium. Worth all the effort. I've got one of these that I hope to build one day. You're inspiring me. I might even do a 1/32 one to go with my fleet.
