was there ever a 1949 desoto or plymouth or a dodge or chrysler  made.

Chrysler, DeSoto, and Dodge 4 door sedans were made when the cars were new.  They were slush cast metal promos offered in many factory colors.  They were made by National Products.  Scale is close to 1/25, maybe 1/26 or 1/27.

There was also a 1/25 scale 1949 Plymouth 4 door sedan promotional model made by AMT in acetate plastic of various colors.

One of my club members has a '49 or '50 Plymouth kit, not sure if it is conventional resin or printed. I will ask him for details. I know he has a source that does custom requests, they are not at all cheap.

i just bought a real 49 desoto 4 door that iam going to restore i thought it would be cool to build a model of it
