Falcon Ranchero Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 Here are some of my personal drawings of concept design cars; I made up a brand called "Starcrest" so some of my cars are labeled as such, and some are no-names. I will add more because I have a lot; when the other kids at school were on their cell phones, I was nose-deep in my drawing books making these artistic cars instead. 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 Cool stuff. I particularly like the '63 "Belmon" (?), and might borrow some of your styling elements to do an actual build...if you have no objection. The Mercury-like reverse slant of the rear window, the matching angle of the upswept tail, the long sweeping side spear, and the later-model or Chrysler Corp.-style windshield combine well. 1
larman Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 (edited) These are very cool! Interesting that they have dimension, most people just drew or draw cars from the side or front, sort of flat looking. I also like the unusual perspective of some of them. You have a unique blend of cartoon and realistic drawing that has a bit of a Keith Weesner feel to it. Edited August 7, 2024 by larman 1

Yes the 1963 Starcrest Belmont; I would love to see one of my drawings as an actual model!!! that would be the coolest thing ever. 1
