Great project!!!  I have contemplated building a model of that car many times, but never got around to it.

Love that you are using the Miss Deal chassis.... I have used that kit as the base for the chassis on a half dozen of my s/fx and gasser builds through the years and have a couple more under projects that are in the works.

It was great to see that Atlantis now has the Miss Deal tooling and the kit is available!

Some not so good news . I lost all of the recent “ in progress “ photos of this project. It is near completion and in paint.

I have changed out the engine from a small block Chevy to a Mopar wedge and decided to change the name of the car as well but I kept the spy theme. Next photos will be in the completed section very soon!

Hi Walter, a friend notified me of your project, if you would like I have more pics (will attach a couple) and can help you with any details I remember ("If you remember the '60s you weren't there").?

The basis for "The Spy Machine"   a 1961 Valiant Signet. Note: both axles were moved forward, the front (solid) so that the curve of the fender touches behind the bumper (one piece fiberglass front clip), the rear radius is larger and higher, the hood scoop was one off not from any car. Attached: Mission, BC (1968), same photo customized by photographer friend & me at Van Isle Raceway (Vancouver Island) waiting to make a pass.

Thank you so much for the photos! Sorry that I did not respond earlier. I've been on the "2024 Long Island Hospital Tour" for the last few months. I've missed quite a bit.
