Chuck Most Posted August 20, 2024 Posted August 20, 2024 This came together in the Power By Ford Community Build. AMT kit with axles and a transfer case from a 1972 GMC Jimmy, MPC Desert Dog tires, and wheels from an AMT Modified Stocker. Engine is a Ford 351 Windsor I had left over from a previous project. 11
ncbuckeye67 Posted August 21, 2024 Posted August 21, 2024 Very nicely done! I love how realistic your weathering looks.
XYHARRY Posted August 21, 2024 Posted August 21, 2024 Cool 4×4 there Chuck, it's about time we see a Ford powered chevy. Well done. Cheers, David. ??
Zippi Posted August 21, 2024 Posted August 21, 2024 Now I'm just really diggin this build Chuck. Great looking 55 Chevy 4X4 and nice weathering job on the body. Looks like a nice little daily driver.
TarheelRick Posted August 21, 2024 Posted August 21, 2024 Very nice overall build. You have done a very commendable job with the light surface rust. One of my favorite aspects is the badging on the front fender.
espo Posted August 21, 2024 Posted August 21, 2024 Great looking patina finish. The 4x4 conversion looks factory. A Ford in a Chevy not often seen, but why not when it looks this good.
Horrorshow Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 The subtle weathering looks great. Well the whole truck does too. Very impressive!
