Falcon Ranchero Posted August 22, 2024 Posted August 22, 2024 Or "memes"; noticed a "Model car memes" thread but I figured memes about real cars would be restricted for that thread, so that is what this thread is for. Here's a few good ones from the Inter-Web. You can add some you find or make your own. 2 2

Falcon Ranchero Posted August 26, 2024 Author Posted August 26, 2024 Darth Vader Car; isn't this the Saab concept car? 3
Brian Austin Posted August 27, 2024 Posted August 27, 2024 I've seen some of these posted over and over countless times on FB. Many I've seen just come across as having a condescending or even aggressive tone. It should be noted regarding the first one, for example, that when the 1960 models made their debut, the 1959 Cadillacs were already out of fashion, and then as time went on they were regarded as white elephants. Any 15-20 year old car will be deemed uninspiring by collectors. So I can imagine a future where Kias will be collectible. Give it a few decades. So there. ? Most of the memes I've seen seem to have an air of "Old Man Afraid of Change". ? Having said all that, the SAAB meme above this post is pretty funny. 1
Brian Austin Posted August 27, 2024 Posted August 27, 2024 Actually the "kids these days" in this meme are spending their time doing the things they want to do, rather than having to fix a car that keeps breaking down every weekend. ? As far as tire changing goes, I haven't needed to do that in many years myself. 2 1 2 1

Funny you should mention that; currently, my grandma drives a 2007 Kia Spectra, and even though it is your typical grocery getter, it isn't a terrible little car. You may be right, it could very well be collectible in the future; if the car lasts that long
Falcon Ranchero Posted August 27, 2024 Author Posted August 27, 2024 I would be a little skeptical at first, but I would take off the head and tail, but if that wasn't allowed, I would probably avoid driving a chicken. 3

ChrisBcritter Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Sure I would! Straight to the nearest demolition derby. Free maintenance, right? "OK, you guys - fix it!" 2
