TNT Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 Our son passed in 2019 from cancer at the age of 26. Since then every year i build a rocket and launch some of his ashes over the house n into the woods. This year my father in law passed and the wife was telling my brother in law about us launching rockets. So he liked the idea and i built this one. I used to try and come with paint schemes. I think it was 2 years ago i just did it in chrome and a punisher decal. After years of doing this i have about perfected my task. The chrome one i left out the parachute since we never recover them. Being chrome and hitting close to 1200 to 1400 ft maybe more. It reflected the sun like crazy as it spun down. And since we are close to ft knox the have stuff flying around. Well the rocket dumped its load in a big puff and i mean in a split second an apache helicopter was over my house. Must of been flying stealth mode because we did not hear it. Most awesome launch ever. This year i am also making some aluminum foil confetti to the pay load. Maybe we will get another visit. Here it is in primer. Duplicolor black. in spaz mirror. And with the decals. just add the engine mount and it is ready to fly. 5
