gtx6970 Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Started off as a red with red int 80s issue Johan friction promo. For an all duplicolor rattle can refresh/ I think it turned out pretty good , IMO of course. Its a replica of a project car I bought about out of a northern KY junkyard ( it had been in a flood ) 15-20 years ago. Lost it in a fire about 10 years ago Any comments good or bad. Im ok with . But it feels good to get one done and in the case after a long hiatis away. It will come back out of the case in the near future to detail the hubcaps and the side spear/vents with some highlighter. Thanks for cking it out 12 1

ea0863 Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 What a beauty! Those formal lines just scream Exner-era. Well done!
bogger44 Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 That looks great to me. Those 300's had such beautiful, clean lines. You can never go wrong with that color combo either.
Falcon Ranchero Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Awesome car; I really like the display case, too
karbuildr Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 That is one sweet open air ride. Nothing like a big boat of a convertible in black and red.
espo Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Great looking paint finish and interior. These early friction cars had very good body proportions.
echo Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Nice save, Johan had such nice bodies, it's good to see them turn up, nice effort to get it where it is.
Moparman18064 Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Looks fantastic, it belongs in a case! You can’t go wrong with the black/ red combo!
XYHARRY Posted August 31, 2024 Posted August 31, 2024 Very nice Chrysler, your colour choices give it a presidential look. Well done Bill. Cheers, David. ??
Mopar - D Posted August 31, 2024 Posted August 31, 2024 Excellent build Bill, the 68 300 is one of my favorite years for the 300. I wish that Chrysler had kept up with the letter cars.
