Here's my version of the AMT 1955 Chevy Bel Air. It's painted in a two-tone brown using custom mixed craft paints and cleared with Createx UVLS 4050 Gloss. The interior is also custom mixed craft paints and I used embossing powder for carpet. I used numerous aftermarket parts on this on requiring lots of modifications. The parts include an Iceman Collections 572 ci big block, Jay's Resin Wheels (eBay) wheels and tires, Lex's Scale Modeling (eBay) Hood, Kamikaze 3D (eBay) floor shifter, and a lazyspectator (eBay) Accel Coil. Additional parts include the rear end and suspension from an AMT NASCAR kit, scratch made mufflers, and the rest of the exhaust using 1/8" aluminum tubing. The wheels were airbrushed using Molotow Chrome, and the trim is Bare Metal Foil. This one was lots of fun, and as mentioned, required lots of modifications for everything to fit. As always, thanks for looking.

Nice job on the 55 Craig.  Great looking two tone color and I always like the products from the Iceman and Jay's.

Your two tone combination looks great Craig. All the extra work and detail was well worth your efforts. Really well done.

Cheers,

David. ??

Beautiful looking build. The two-tone paint and finish look great, and the body trim is all cleanly done. Like the Rally style wheels and the big block engine.

Love the two tone, love the brown even more, it’s adds an elegant look to a sinister powered hot rod!

Great looking paint, and I agree with others - the wheels/tires combo really sets the build off - great photography of your interior!

The shifter is a really nice addition to the interior and your colors suit the car very well. You don't mention anything about the bumpers, but I have to note that your front bumper really looks metal. I love that. And being a sucker for the obscure details, My favorite is the orange paint in the trim. That's a really cool touch.

That kit is on my todo list. Owned a couple of them (1:1) in the distant past. Yours looks great. Thanks for showing it. Neat garage too.
