Glad you post it. I like some of these old cars because they have so much character and people are so creative with them. Be cool to tool around in this in 1:1

Glad you like it. I would love to tool around in this also, but ourdays it's cheaper to buy a Ferrari.

You nailed the look of the 1:1 there Mozzi, your model is super clean too. Really well done.

Cheers,

David. 😎👍

Thank you David. I tried to do my best for the time I had.

Well done replica.  The Rustoleum paint came out nice.

Thank you Hector.

People diss on the Rustoleum, but it can definitely produce great results if you know what you're doing.

Flaws and all, it looks great!

Thank you James.

It definitely has some minor flaws and most people will not even pay attention to them, but I know they're there and it will for ever bug me. LOL

Absolutely stunning 32!   What’s the body color?

Thank you Carl.

I believe the color was Modern Mint or something like that. It was a Rustoleum spray can from Walmart.

Flaws? I don't see any flaws!  Bitchen Deuce Sedan, Mozzi! There is nothing like gaining inspiration from a real 1:1 car...

Thank you Tim.

And you are right about the 1:1 car experience. It can do miracles for inspiration.

Believe you me, this Deuce has quite few areas, where I could have done a little better.

I love to build real customs and rods in scale myself and I think you did a great job here! Looks like the 1:1 !

Thank you Oliver.

I try to build models as "inspired by" rather than "a replica of". The main reason is that when I try to replicate something, I get obsessive and then go down a rabbit hole which usually ends up with the model never being finished. Where when setting off to make "a tribute" model if you will, you can maybe get as close as you want to the real thing without making that commitment and therefore not running out of interest.

Beautiful and inspiring. Great take on this classic. I love it.

Thanks Mario.

I agree, the '32 Fords are THE classic Hot Rod. And the colors on this particular one give it that vintage look in a way.

Great build. You’ve replicated the original nicely. I agree with you on the original rod, it’s understated yet impeccable appearance makes it stand out from a crowd.👍🏻

G’day Michael, my apologies for the term “replicate” , I didn’t read your original post thoroughly enough to see the original 32 was the inspiration behind the build and the intent was not a full on copy. Probably should refrain from posting here after a couple of beers. It’s still a very clean and good looking build though. 👍🏻

It's all good, man. No need to apologize. I appreciate your comments. And reading the forum with a cold brew in hand (often times something much stronger) is one of the simple pleasures in life I am not giving up.

Man, you nailed the colors and the stance. Small block looks great. Nice work!

Thank you Dennis. The colors were pure dumb luck while buying stuff for the house at Walmart. Sometimes the stars align like that.

Thank you for the kind words.
