Those are some crazy detailed pictures!  Would need to be a mechanic like you to understand what everything is for, but sure looks awesome!  Wonder who their modeller is?  Imagine trying to paint all that!

I might have guessed. Now we can't get these beautiful stuff. I suppose the air dryer came from the same source?

Interesting: what do you use to tie up some pipes/wires?

Did a little more today, after  a few hours at work,,had to take a Paramedic truck to University Hospital in Newark,,,,,,,,,,rigged up some CAC piping and hoses,,,started to put CTM hose clamps on ,,,like threading a needle! Rad hoses on too,,,,ran harness from alt and ECM ,,a couple more decals ,,,made the "FLEET SERVICES" on inkjet decal paper and put those on ,,,needs some more Micro Sol and then I'll hit it with clear. Laid the boom on the deck for ya

Scott, I missed this post - I'm guessing the page rolled over to a new one before I looked again - your engine detailing looks awesome and decals look great!  I can just see the pin in the end of your hydraulic pump waiting for a hose to be attached.  Looks like the PTO/pump fit in there well.

Brian yup it fit fine,,,I just shaved off the molded in cover/bolts on the Allison ,, I could have used the bigger 2 stage pump too but the orientation of the ports would put the hyd hoses/fittings into the frame ,,I'll use that one on a truck mounted knuckle boom crane I have on my to-do list

Good to hear!  I have a Hiab or Palfinger crane in my future as well.  Is that 2 stage pump, from the Century parts manual, normally bolted to a crossmember with a connecting shaft to the PTO, to better accommodate the fittings on both sides of the pump?

Never been successful with BMF - wouldn't stick well for me.  Great job with your grill!

I know BMF had a lot of bad batches that got out because of that issue,,I was planning on masking it off and using Revell chrome spray ,,,but because the hood may be handled a bit I decided to go with the foil,,I have a Mack bulldog to go on it but that will be last ,,,I'd like to find a cast pewter one instead of the resin one I have ,,,pretty fragile

Yep. Gotta get the true Xacto blades, not the knock off BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH. Excellent work. Love the way the MP8 turned out.
