Mattilacken Posted September 16, 2024 Posted September 16, 2024 (edited) I have a personal relationship to this particular machine even though I made it as #11 instead of the #12 that we used to have in our monter back in 2005 when we where touring the swedish Junior Touring car Championchip. The car we had was on auction couple of years ago and as it seems it must have been a spare chassi or something since it does't have a chassi number, Looks the part though and I remember gaming Grand turismo in it as well as standing next to it while others where gaming. and I remember that it was quite light when we pushed it back an forth in to the trailer, even though the tires had low pressure. Here is a link to the one we had with uss. Jordan Peugeot 197, Formel 1-bil — 1997 på Bilweb Auctions I made this build mostly during a week when I was feeling under the weather. Box stock except for antenna that was replaced by a needle. Had a clear coat problem on the tires so the decals got a bit damaged. Far from perfect but I like these cars and it felt good to get something done. It was a nice kit to build, in 1/24 scale and nice decals, some where realy hard to get them to stick to the body and form around the curvature even though i was using solvents. Paint is Tamiya LP yellow airbrushed on and al other colors are by Vallejo. first time I tried the method to use a nylon sock to Make it to look like CF which turned out ok. Rich Chernosky Posted September 16, 2024 Posted September 16, 2024 Very nice build Anton. Looks like some very tricky decal work. I take it this is the Revell kit. 1

TonyK Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 I forgot how great this car looked and your model looks great too. The decals look fine to me but I can see they must've been a real challenge. 1
Chinacar Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 You did that livery justice! Well done Anton. 1
Mattilacken Posted November 5, 2024 Author Posted November 5, 2024 Thanks everyone for taking time to comment i apriciate it allot! I found some of the old pictures from 2005 when we where racing in the Swedish JTCC. Here the tent can be seen with the F1 car aswell as our race car. Here is the setup with speakers and the screen, smal with todays view. This was our setup when touring the country on different race tracks. I belive we had 5 different drivers on the car. I was on marketing and stuck in the tent most of the time. I think our driver that time is in the center of the picture behind the white and read car where the dust trail starts.
MarkJ Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 Wow, Anton. I can hardly tell the difference between the real car and your build except for a few spots of different colors here and there and the number of course. Very excellent and clean build. You should definitely be proud about this one for sure.

Thanks Joe! there are things to improve but for a quick build of a new type of car i am ok with the result ? This is Revell 1/24 scale.
mustang1989 Posted November 14, 2024 Posted November 14, 2024 (edited) Never in a milliion years would I have ever guessed that car was from a Revell kit. Master class work on that Anton. Edited November 17, 2024 by mustang1989 1
Mattilacken Posted February 21 Author Posted February 21 I went to my local toy store to pick up a gift to one of my kid’s friends and came a cross this Burago 1/24 RB19 and just had to gett it! And for the first time i realized how big they are. The 1997 Jordan look like a toy!

MarkJ Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Oh, okay. Somehow, I knew there was something not quite right about the red bull.
