Hey, Fellas! My old man is in the process of getting his classic MoPar painted. In order to help protect his new paint job, I want to recommend to him that he use a wax that sheets off the water, not one that beads the water. Those little droplets magnify UV rays, and that wreaks havoc on your clearcoat.......

So, what do you guys suggest for a good automotive wax? or Do you think something like the ceramic coating being done now would be a good idea?

Here's a pic before being painted......... This is the factory paint. It's a really nice 10 footer!

I'll post an After pic as soon as I get the chance.

Thanks for any help!

You might talk to the painter about any recommendations for "waxes" to use with the type of paint that the painter is using as well as to when to treat the paint after it dries.
