In Australia we have a car culture where we build over powered cars just to burn rubber for fun and competition. Its an Aussie thing.

And DDA collectibles has a HQ Holden kit which is very similar in style to a Burnout car.

So with those things in mind, I set about building my interpretation.

With the engine being the main focal point, I change out the kit supplied rubbery vinyl plumbing and wiring. And replaced with some Top Studio Detail-Up parts.

Replaced the oob seats with some 3D printed items from Platinum Scale a ebay vendor.

The rear steel wheels I 3D printed are from Model Design found on cults3d, burnout tyres are from the DDA Kingswood kit.

I 3D printed a fuel cell which is from my good friend slowysmodels which can be found on his cults3d profile.

Used aluminium tube for the exhaust.

And when these cars are not burning rubber they are usually on display with the rear show wheels. Which are from the DDA wheel set, 5 spoked chromed. aVwqirS.jpg

My apologies for the quality of the photo's, They were taken with a phone. I will make sure to take some with a camera and replace where needed.

G'day Luke, you nailed this one, a can smell the rubber burning from here. Well done mate, I'll definitely be getting one of these DDA kits, they look very accurate.

Cheers,

David. ????
