First post in W.I.P. This is my current project, 71 Ford Ranger. Shortened frame and modified, front and rear C-notch. Shortened the bed and raised the bed floor. Opened the doors and made the doorjams. Created suicide door hinges and incased them in the jams. Powerplant is an Iceman Collections supercharged coyote engine and wheels were purchased from Foggy Cypress on Etsy. Thanks for looking. Will post more progress pics as it progresses.

Figuring out the inner door and door panel. The kit body lines for the interior tub do not match the door after cutting apart and test fitting. Door panels will be installed after doors or glued in place and painted.

Testing fitting the doors on the body and testing the seat proved to be an issue. The seat is to wide and hitting the doors. I cut the seat in half and took out 1/8 of an inch. Glued the seat back together and test fit again. I now have plenty of room between the doors and seat. I could have put buckets in but really want to keep the interior as stock as possible.

Was able to finally do a bit more to the Ranger. Managed to finish up the door jambs on the cab and completed some bodywork on the firewall and doors.

Finally had some free time and was able to work on an issue that came up on the Ranger. After building the cab and hinges I ran into an issue with how to get the dash installed into the cab. To solve the problem I used a technique I learned from a video by Doug Whyte, neodymium magnets. Using styrene strips i made a base and a mount and installed magnets into both. I glued the mount to the bottom of the dash and attached the base, then glued the base to the cab firewall. After it set i was able to remove the dash and the base remained in the cab. Now I can install the dash without issue.
