Brizio Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 Just finished this fun project. This Vespa was 3d printed in one piece. I cut the fork/handlebar so now is free to move, new hexhaust, drilled headlight and replaced with clear lens, added brake/clutch levers, mirror, added choke/gas levers, redesign the seat and added a hook, removed the one piece kickstand and made a working one. I have a short video on instagram that show this Vespa: Vespa Video 9
James2 Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 Impressive, I 've lost parts that big! Nice IG post as well...

Bugatti Fan Posted October 22, 2024 Posted October 22, 2024 A nice little model. Was unaware of a 3D printed scooter model. This one really looks good when finished. I have a motor scooter kit that is tucked away within and part of the Tamiya Campus Friends figure set in 1/24th scale. Not sure if it is a Vespa or a Lambretta though.
eran_k Posted October 22, 2024 Posted October 22, 2024 is this your own design? did you get on cults? mind sharing the link?

Now they update teh set, with a modern scooter, not tennis player, but a person with the cellphone. About the old Tamiya I wish the Vespa had tread on the tires. Looks toyish without.

PatW Posted October 25, 2024 Posted October 25, 2024 (edited) Brilliant Vespa scooter! This takes me back to being a MOD here in the UK in the 1960's! There was a large number of us in town about fifty percent rode the Vespa's, and the others on Lambretta's! All of which were Italian. We sometimes re-painted them, others had the removable side panels chrome or copper plated! Edited October 25, 2024 by PatW

I remember seeing some choppers too! Completely different that what I was seeing in Italy, were I grew up. My first Vespa was a N, 50cc, I was 15 year old. THe first thing I did was to change piston, cylinder, carburator... I put a 102cc, with a 19/19 carburator, exhaust. Here in the US I ave a '59 VBA. My brother also got a PX few years later, and after got a PX, and now he has around 20 Vespas, frome the 50's to 80's. All large frame except of the PK. Years ago also we made a Vespa group, and organize meeting and rallyes every year. Do you still have a Vespa? If you collect Vespa stuff, I can send you some Stickers, patch and pin from our group.

No i don't have any stuff about my scooters and they were Lambretta's, that went in my 20's, and that's now 50 years ago! Although I still buy button down collar shirts in blue check and light coloured Stay Pressed Chino trousers!

There is a guy around here that has a Royal Alloy (Lambretta look a like), and dress up like a MOD.
