kelson Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 Wrapped up a couple days ago, color is Dark Brown metallic, decals from the reissued 81'coupe,wheels from the 86'Monte Carlo SS and tires from the parts box with Shabo dry tranfers added.I also changed the exhaust tips,i didn't like how they hung straight down. 16
espo Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 The paint color was a popular choice at the time and the finish with the Z-28 decals looks great. Like the extra effort you put into the wheel and tire combination. 1
karbuildr Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 Excellent work, I like it as a convertible. 1
Hard_2_Handle_454 Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 Used to see a bunch of these in the Charleston area in the early 2000s. Just sitting in people's yards rusting away. 1
Rattlecan Dan Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 Nice build. Great looking and nicely detailed. 1
ncbuckeye67 Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 That's beautiful! My favorite Camaro body style (2nd only to the 69). My favorite thing to do as a younger builder, was to make convertibles out of cars that never were factory built. 1
