Falcon Ranchero Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 (edited) Got curoius again about this so here are some I done up. They do a neat job. I have some saved on a USB from 2023 so I'll try to find those as they were pretty cool. But these new ones are interesting. In quotations are the prompts I shoved into the generator. If any of you guys fooled around with the AI thing, feel free to add your pictures. They're good ideas for custom models. "A 1970 American hatchback parked on the beach" "A 1963 American Station Wagon parked at a campground" "A 1960 Imperial LeBaron parked on the side of the road" "A 1967 American Muscle Car parked in a highschool parking lot" "A red 1968 Pontiac LeMans hardtop cruising on a road in the evening with a beach in the background" "a 1955 Motorama Show car covered with dust, in a barn" "A 1957 Motarama show car on a red carpet in a showroom" "A 1969 Imperial LeBaron driving in the city at night" Edited October 17, 2024 by Falcon Ranchero 2
Falcon Ranchero Posted October 17, 2024 Author Posted October 17, 2024 (edited) Oh boy ok yeah I see them not loading now also, shoot. I'll see if I can fix that; I think I know what happened, geez They probably wanted me to save the images to the computer but I just copied and pasted them dang it I know I ended up saving a few to the website but the first few may be lost to the internet; nuts Edited October 17, 2024 by Falcon Ranchero
Falcon Ranchero Posted October 17, 2024 Author Posted October 17, 2024 (edited) Yeah anything before "1970 American hatchback parked on a beach" is lost forever. Ok now they should in theory be up. Had to save them to the computer. Edited October 17, 2024 by Falcon Ranchero
Rob Hall Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 I like the '67 Muscle Car... reminds me of a what if Buick had a F-body.. the last one (Imperial) looks more like a '69 Lincoln up front.. 2
SSNJim Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 Where are the drivers in the LeMans and 69 Imperial? ? 1
Bainford Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 14 minutes ago, SSNJim said: Where are the drivers in the LeMans and 69 Imperial? ? The LeMans driver is in the trunk and has a bucket for a head. The Imperial driver has been integrated into the front seat. 2
peteski Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 Interesting how some of the steering wheels visible through the windshield look like thin twisted ribbons. 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 Interesting...but it's pretty immediately obvious whatever AI engine this is doesn't yet understand context of lotsa things we take for granted. 1

True, but AI is still in its infancy. Give it a year or two and . . .
sfhess Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 Meh. Most of the ai-generated car pictures I have seen give me a headache.

And that said, I've seen some AI-generated images (not cars) that were staggeringly beautiful and emotionally evocative. Just as there are differing levels of innate human talent and ability, so it is apparently with AI engines. Edited October 18, 2024 by Ace-Garageguy
Mattilacken Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 (edited) I tried this today and it was a bit of fun. Falcon Ranchero Posted October 18, 2024 Author Posted October 18, 2024 Re-doing some of the prompts I had earlier that didn't load correctly 3
Rob Hall Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 I kind of like the styling on this one, made the rounds on FB pages... 4

Kenmojr Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 I fed a 3D model I created a few years ago with the modeling app Groboto3D into Vizcom AI. Sadly Groboto3D is no longer being developed. But is available as a plugin (Mesh Fusion) for Modo as the developer decided to concentrate more on the plugin then the stand alone app. I 2
Kenmojr Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 For this AI render, I used a crude model I created 10 years ago in Silo3D. Again, I used VIZCOM AI to render the image. 3
Kenmojr Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 (edited) Using an image I sketched digitally using my Wacom tablet and the 2D painting app Art Rage & Photoshop, I created a few AI versions in VIZCOM AI Source image Edited October 18, 2024 by Kenmojr 1
Kenmojr Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 I play with the free version of VIZCOM AI. https://www.vizcom.ai/ I supposed to be aimed at car designers. Berk Kaplan, a professional car designer has several tutorials on youtube designing cars with VIZCOM AI as well as modeling cars in Blender3D and sketching car designs with pencil and paper.
Kenmojr Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 Another one of my VIZCOM AI car renders. Source was a 2D painting I did of a cartoonish car using Artrage and my Wacom Tablet. Source
