This is soooo coooool!!!!! Great job. I used to live in San Jose and would go to the city every weekend with my girlfriend. We rode these all the time. Your build is amazing. ?

Lovely scratch built models Manfred. Those old cable cars have so much character and so many variations and colour schemes.

I have been following your website homepage and You Tube videos and learning so much from them for when I start my own build.

Beautiful work.  takes me back the my visits to AF.  I love that you did most of the build with laser cut wood reminiscent of the real cars.  I didn't see any pics of the Grip mechanism, does it go down into the cable slot?

Thanks for sharing.

Beautifully done! When I was growing up in San Francisco in the 50's and 60's, my father had a record shop on Powell Street, and so those cable cars were part of my everyday life back then. Later in life, I lived on Nob Hill and the California Street Cable Car was my twice-daily commute. I got to know all the crews, it usually was the highlight of my day.

These look look like they perfectly replicate modern-day Powell St. cable cars, down to every detail and nuance. Incredible! Maybe you should go back into history and do a Jones Street Shuttle!

Well done, thanks for the memories they evoke.

Incredibly detailed models Manfred.

I have just started to attempt build No16 from the Artesania Latina kit as I like the colour scheme of mainly blue with yellow window frames etc. The kit is of No 29 in the plum red and sky blue livery, so I will have to get decals printed up for the version I will be making.

I have been running and pausing YouTube videos with No 16 featured in it. It is amazing all those extra details that can be seen when doing this. My biggest challenge I think will be that No16 has a sliding door at each end of the enclosed section. Manfred's videos point the way forward about how I can overcome this particulzr problem. Lots to learn from them about other things on my build.
