1993 Toyota Supra MKIV 1/24 Tamiya

Hello, I built this kit at the end of 2021, and I made the mistake of painting it by mixing metallic and non-metallic acrylic colors, resulting in a metallic paint with very large particles for the scale of the model. As a result, I now decided to disassemble the body and paint it in a color that I had always liked, resembling the dark metallic gray that the real car has.

Great looking paint finish. The interior and engine detailing are really well done and the colors and finishes all look correct.

The dark metallic grey is a definite improvement and looks exceptional. Very nice engine compartment as well.

Hello David, for me this new color is much prettier. The interior has small details on the door panels and the engine because I did put my hand into it. Thank you so much.

David, when painting with metallics you have to be especially careful with the size of the metallic particle, it can ruin your work, as happened to me. Thanks for your comment.

The first intention was to make a dark metallic brownish color but it didn't turn out as I expected, I liked it and decided to put it together anyway, but after it was finished I saw that the metallic was out of scale, so new paint. I look much better. Thank you so much Jeff.
