Making all the brackets to mount fenders, the air suspension and fuel tanks are creating impedances. Got the wheels stripped and refinished, grill is stripped and ready for many modifications. Finish fenders and front brakes and chassis is ready for paint. Got to find room for air tanks yet. Hey Gary,,did you consider maybe going with Super Singles on the rears? .........not to upset the apple cart at this point.....lol looks good pal ! 1
Scott Eriksen Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 Gary "........so not sure what I may do." I have this same sign nailed above my bench ! lol ! 1 1

I tend to mimic the local trucks I see here, the logging trucks use a super single on lift axle and duals on drivers. Although I just seen a new logging truck and trailer with super singles all the way around. 3

Gary Chastain Posted December 18, 2024 Author Posted December 18, 2024 Warning for the purists; I am reshaping the front fenders to get rid of the coffee table in front of the fenders, and building a custom bumper. Also getting rid of the bugeye headlights. 3

Some days I do I had the truck for 19 years dad passed away after going to one show after it was completed with us in Paducah Ky. and it was never the same after that even though Bill and I still showed our trucks many years after dad’s passing there was always a empty feeling. I sold the truck because of my physical health was not doing well and I wasn’t going to be like these guys who are in the late 70s saying “I’m going to fix it up some day” I sold it so some one else could enjoy the truck as much as I did. 3
