I was watching this last night.. again. The Oldsmobile in this scene belonged to my neighbor down the block. He traded it after that for another car. 

When the cars were there to shoot the scene, the directors wanted to spray the shiny cars with something to make them look dull. Which most owners grumbled about. His car was okay as is.

Cool story,there’s a guy that comes to a lot of local shows during the summer.He has an exact replica of the brown Caddy used in the film that Ray Liotta drove.Very well done car.It was a 1979 Cadillac Coupe DeVille Custom Phaeton…Footnote:(1979 Cadillac Coupe DeVille Custom Phaeton Coupe: This metallic brown Cadillac was the last car that Hill would own in the film prior to being shipped off to the witness protection program.)Anyway,I  don’t know,that’s what the article said,just a nice car.
